Body of Work Yoga Studios certificate of teaching:  BCYT  BOWS Certified Yoga Teacher

Certification Requirements Link & Registration

The following is in response to all of you who have asked,  "How can I get certified to teach Yoga."  I hope this helps and I look forward to sharing my love of yoga with you.

There are many benefits in becoming Certified in Yoga.  If you are certified, you can use this in your resume, advertising, and business endeavors.  Being certified allows you to designate to students and employers that you are qualified and competent.

Until now, local teachers have had to travel to St. Louis, Kansas City, or Arkansas to meet course requirements.  Yoga teachers already teaching in Springfield and the surrounding areas will have a convenient location to complete their course requirements.  Applicants with no yoga training will have the opportunity to complete their certification with out having to travel out of town.

There are  five required categories.  Four will be completed on your own using a grid form for documentation.  The final category is Teacher Training.  The cost of the training is $100.00  YMCA members' cost is $90.00 .  The next teacher training will be held at:
