Sometimes the path we are on takes new meaning when seen from a different perspective.  In this workshop, you'll discover a Taoist perspective that may enhance and expand your Yoga practice.  The Tao, literally meaning the way, is yet another path to spiritual self-discovery.  Fascinatingly similar in many ways to the Yoga tradition, the Tao tradition traces back over 5,000 years to the first known practitioner the Yellow Silk emperor devised as well as other forms of Chi Kung/qiQong, literally translated as energy movement.

A balance of movement and discussion, this 2 1/2 hour session will be a playful and lively event presented by Steve Eiffert.  A student of both yoga and the Tao, Steve began studying Tai Ji, a Chi Kung form over twenty years ago with Bill Snelson.  his interest led him to other teachers with whom he studied for several years, Chungliang Al Huang, George Leonard and David Streeter.  Steve has presented over 2,500 training programs worldwide since 1999.  he is also the author of Crosstrain Your Brain, published by AMACOM Books.  In his daily work as a leadership trainer, he often applies lessons he has learned from the Tao.  Please wear loose comfortable clothing.  Bring a sweater or blanket if you feel you might get cold between exercise sessions.
